RiskDX June Update

The RiskDX newsletter provides a monthly update of development and new features added to RiskDX. Please contact us if you wish to subscribe. Here are some of our highlights from June 2020.

Analytics

We have embedded analytics into the Admin Console. Data used for analytics is stored in the RiskDX Data Mart, this preserves anonymity and provides for robust audit of the reports. Authorized users can apply filters, drill-down, view data in table format and export data for offline analysis. So far, we have built for a few select reports focused on the customer journey and demographics of applicants, over the next month we are adding more reports and developing the quick start guide and full user guide for these analytics.

There is no additional cost for analytics, unless users want to create their own reports, then they will require a PowerBI Pro license which costs US $10 per month from Microsoft if they do not already have one.

Platform Upgrade

During June we focused on a number of things “under the hood”. We completed our platform migration from AWS to Azure and upgraded from .NET Core v2 to v3.1. Version 3.1 of .NET Core has Long Term Support, with support scheduled to expire in December 2022. However, we expect to migrate to a version of .NET v5 in the first half of 2021, once this is available and stable.

We have also added automated testing scripts using Selenium; we are embedding these in the Admin Console to be viewed or executed on demand by clients.

The latest version of the system was released in private preview for self-serve demos, allowing users to experience the system at their leisure. This will be made public in the next 2 weeks and will be included in my July update, in the meantime please contact me if you want access to the preview.
